Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team for an industrial facility design project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing security systems, preparing detailed design documents, and ensuring client approval by reviewing and incorporating client feedback. This role requires a deep understanding of cyber security principles and the ability to produce high-quality design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Analysis: Evaluate the security needs of the industrial facility and establish protocols to mitigate risks.
System Design: Design security solutions to protect the facility's network and data.
Documentation Preparation: Create comprehensive design documents, including security architecture diagrams, specifications, and risk assessments.
Client Review: Present design documents to clients, gather feedback, and make necessary revisions to meet client expectations and get the final approval.
Compliance: Ensure all design documents comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with other disciplines’ engineers and project managers to ensure the security design integrates seamlessly with other facility systems.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of design documents to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission to clients.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of security system designs.


Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in cyber security, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Project Experience: Must have worked on at least 5 similar projects.

Skills:
o Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
o Proficiency in creating detailed design documentation.
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA security.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443.
